Projects and Programs
The Lower Murray Darling Catchment Management Authority (LMD CMA) has a number of projects and programs in place to enhance the natural resources of the catchment.
Activities are targeted to ensure that the greatest natural resource benefit is achieved. The end result being improved soil health, water quality and vegetation condition leading to increased productivity and profitability of our catchment, while improving the environment.
In 2008-09 funds will be supplied from the Australian Government's "Caring for Our Country" program and the State Government's "Catchment Action Program". In addition, the LMD CMA applies for and receives other funding from industry and special grant programs.
